An oval toilet seat can measure in width from 350- 380mm while extending in length from 400 - 460mm.  Hinge holes are circa 65-275mm.  To find the right hinge width, measure from the centres of the holes in your pan.  The length is then taken from this line to the edge of your pan with the width being measured from the widest part.
